Where is Hudson Lofts Located +-

Hudson Lofts is located at 5720 Station Road Erie, PA 16510, about a third of a mile from Penn State Behrend's Junker Center.

What does rent include? +-

Our rent is all inclusive! You are not responsible for paying separate electric, water, sewer, trash, gas, cable, or internet bills. One monthly check is all you need!

Can I walk to Penn State Behrend's Campus? +-

Yes, you can! Our apartments are within walking distance to Penn State Behrend. We are also a stop on the PSB campus loop, which provides free shuttle service to and from campus for students.

Is parking included? +-

Yes! Parking is included, you will just need to register your vehicle to receive a Hudson Lofts parking pass upon check-in.

What floor plans do you offer? +-

We offer a 1BD Efficiency, 2BD/2BA, and 4BD/4BA. A private bathroom is located within each suite.

Are the apartments fully furnished? +-

Yes! Each apartment features a modern furniture package. Please contact the office for more information regarding the floorplan you are interested in. All floorplans do include a full-sized bed.

What does an individual lease mean? +-

An individual lease means that once you complete all of your leasing documents, you have secured one single spot within Hudson Lofts. Finalizing your leasing agreement for your desired floorplan does not mean you have secured an entire apartment (aside from the 1BD Efficiency unit.)

What if I have a roommate in mind? +-

We will do everything possible to honor your roommate requests! If you would like to live in an apartment with your friends, everyone will need to complete their application and leasing process in a timely manner. Referring back to the individual leasing agreement, ALL applications and leasing processes must be completed by your preferred roommates in order to honor your roommate requests to the best of our abilities.

Do you have an onsite laundry facility? +-

For your convenience, we have provided washers and dryers in each apartment.

Do you have maintenance/on-call staff? +-

Yes, we do! We have maintenance available during our normal business hours as well as 24 hour emergency maintenance if needed. In addition, we have on-site Community Assistants on-call afterhours who are available to assist you with general concerns, maintenance, and lockouts.

What leasing terms are available? +-

We currently offer 12 month leases for our 1BD Efficiencies and 2B/2BA units and a 12 month or 10 month lease for our 4BD/4BA units.

Do I have to be a student at Penn State Behrend to live here? +-

No, you do not!

How much is the security deposit? +-

Please contact our Leasing Office for our current security deposit rates.

Can I pay rent with financial aid? +-

Absolutely! Please contact the Leasing Office for more details.

How do I pay rent? +-

You can pay your rent via cash, check, money order or credit/debit card. (Please note that there is a 5% processing fee for paying with a card.) You also have the option to pay via e-check with a checking or savings account through your resident portal. (Please note that there is a $1.00 processing fee for making a payment through the resident portal.)

How do I apply for an apartment? +-

You can apply for an apartment by visiting our website at and clicking “Apply Online!” Please note that there is a $50.00 non-refundable application fee. Our entire application and leasing process is online, meaning it is quick and easy to complete! However, if you prefer to meet in person, we are happy to schedule a meeting time to complete the application and leasing process in our Leasing Office, just give us a call!

Can I bring my pet? +-

We have a strict no pets policy. Please contact the office if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.

Do I need Renters Insurances? +-

Renters Insurance is not required, however it is strongly recommended.

I finished the application process...what's next? +-

You and your guarantor (if applicable) will need to sign your updated leasing documents and pay your security deposit. Upon completion of your security deposit, your leasing requirements will be finished! A representative from our Leasing Office will be in touch with you throughout this process to answer any questions and discuss placement and availability.
